About The Gab Cab
The idea of the Gab Cab originated in York, Maine during Labor Day Weekend. I was grabbing a drink at an outdoor bar at a hotel. The bar was actually a stationed trailer, which I thought was super unique and cool! Then the gears started to turn…what if this trailer was mobile and could travel to different venues and do events. Alas, The Gab Cab was created. That very next weekend I went out to look at a bus I found on Facebook marketplace. I bought it on the spot and immediately went to work!
We offer comprehensive dry hire services where you bring the alcohol and we handle everything else. Each booking includes a personalized tasting session to craft a tailored cocktail menu, a shopping guide to help you select the perfect spirits and mixers, and all the materials and expertise necessary to ensure your bar service is perfectly suited to your event. Our professional bartenders are dedicated to creating custom cocktails and/or mocktails that delight your guests and make your celebration truly special.

Includes all services offered in “The Essentials Package” with the addition of:

FAQ
A dry hire mobile bar is referring to a service that provides the complete bar set up and breakdown. This includes bartenders, tools, mixers, drinkware, but does not supply the alcohol. Clients are responsible for the purchase and supply of any and all alcohol. We are happy to provide guidance and a complete shopping list for this.
We cater to a variety of events such as birthdays, graduation parties, weddings, fundraisers, anniversaries, private gatherings, etc. As we “soft launch” we will only be doing events on private property at this time, not at rented out venues.
Yes! We offer custom made drink mixers tailored to your event. The premium package includes 1 custom made drink mixer. Additional custom drink mixers can be added on to either the essentials package, or the premium package. 3 of our signature flavors are always included in the package as well.
Yes! We are always open to ideas and creating unique experiences. On the flip side, no worries if you don’t know what kind of cocktails would be good with which mixer. We will let you know popular pairings and give you our best recommendations. As always, all concoctions are able to be sampled upon consultation.
Yes, we have full general liability and liquor liability insurance.
Currently we are serving Newburyport, West Newbury, Amesbury, Haverhill, and the surrounding areas. If your event is out of this region, additional travel costs may be added.
